John Nguyen is a technology strategist, investor, and business development expert with over 20 years of experience in IT, analytics, and enterprise technology. As a General Partner at 5IR Funds, he specializes in identifying and scaling high-growth investment opportunities in blockchain, AI, and emerging digital technologies. With extensive expertise in blockchain infrastructure, ICO strategy, and tokenomics, he brings a deep understanding of decentralized systems, smart contracts, and digital assets to 5IR’s investment framework.

Beyond 5IR Funds, John has held leadership and investment roles across multiple industries. As Managing Partner of The Culinary Code, he has driven innovation in the culinary and hospitality sectors. He is also an Investor and Partner in BLACK BOX Prompter, supporting technology-driven solutions in the music industry, and Co-Owner of MaiPhamLe LLC, where he develops intellectual property strategies for emerging tech applications. Previously, he was Principal at Anaplan Solutions (Gambitplan), leading business intelligence and strategic planning initiatives, and held senior IT and analytics leadership roles at the American Heart Association, Vizient, Texas Health Resources, and Brink’s Home Security.

John holds a B.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington. His technical expertise, strategic foresight, and investment acumen play a key role in advancing 5IR Funds’ mission, ensuring its portfolio companies leverage cutting-edge technology for sustainable growth and long-term success.
